eBuilder processes can handle financial transactions (for example, electronic invoices, electronic payment process, and credit card transactions) automatically. These processes are described below. Today these processes are an integral part of various eBuilder standard Cloud Processes. They enable you to automate and optimize the way you manage many electronic financial transactions. This removes the tedium and inefficiency of manual administration, radically reduces processing time, and improves the accuracy of the processing.

These processes build on eBuilder’s proven ability to seamlessly integrate you and your systems with all your collaborating business partners and their systems: your business process network. They include well-defined and configurable business rules. They give you control over master data, for example, its integrity and availability, throughout the relevant value network of collaborating partners.


Automated invoice handling including: invoice creation and electronic payment process

eBuilder’s automated invoice handling contains a platform that can generate and/or receive electronic invoices and store them in accordance with current legal requirements. All formats of electronic invoices are supported. Different types of invoices are supported, for example, invoices based on orders, on transport, or invoices related to travel. Periodic invoices, such as electricity or mobile phone invoices, are also supported.

The following processes are included:

  •          Generation of invoices based on purchase orders.
  •          Matching of received electronic and scanned invoices against orders, delivery notes, and valid contracts/agreements.
  •          Automation of your invoice-handling workflow, including:
    •    Verification of the syntax and content of the invoice, including verification of subtotals.
    •    Classification — determine the recipient, for further processing.
    •    Matching invoice items against order/contract/price list.
    •    Accounting  — charging to the correct account in the chart of accounts.
    •    Approval/Authorization according to the configured business rules. This can be done automatically or manually depending on configuration.
    •    Transfer of the items to the relevant financial system for further processing.

We automate invoice handling for customers who receive hundreds of thousands of scanned and/or electronic invoices and match them against contracts.
