eBuilder Delivery

eBuilder delivers its standard Cloud Processes in different levels of integration/customization; we call these different levels, Editions — Net Edition, Community Edition, and Customer Edition, described below. We also can produce Customized Cloud Processes, also described below.

Net Edition

Net Editions are highly standardized Cloud Process for customers with limited requirements on integration and automation. They contain static business rules and master data. Net Edition Cloud Processes deliver a high degree of ease of use and, to some degree, self-configuration. They have limited functionality and are not customizable. Effective simplicity.

Community Edition

Community Editions are standardized Cloud Processes that are fully integrated with the business process network consisting of your collaborating partners and with the partner’s and your company’s relevant systems. Our Community Edition have some 200 parameters that can be configured. These are ‘best-practice’ parameters, based on eBuilder’s years of experience and on feedback from our over 500,000 end users. They cover area such as business rules, master data, KPIs, and Service Level Agreements. A simple example: in our eBuilder Travel and Expense Management Cloud Process, you use a parameter to configure whether payments should be sent to your back-office systems or to a bank or to both. All Community Edition Cloud Processes use the same code base and are hosted in the same operating environment, but they have unique data storage.

eBuilder has business consultants to help in the configuration of the parameters that steer the business logic of the cloud process. Or, in the case of special hosting and/or service levels, eBuilder has experts to help customers define the levels and then implement them. Standard Cloud Academy training courses can also be recommended for personnel who will work with the cloud process(es).

Customer Edition

A Customer Edition is a Cloud Process, based on a Community Edition Cloud Process, which contains customer-unique configurations of business rules, master data, KPIs and Service Level Agreements, etc. that are beyond the scope of those in a Community Edition. Customer Editions have separate, customer-specific hosting. eBuilder experts can implement any customer-specific business rules, thus giving even more flexibility than the standard ‘best-practices’ parameters in the Community Edition. All collaborating partners in the value network are integrated by the Cloud Process.

Customer Editions are maintained and hosted in a separate hosting environment.

Customized eBuilder Cloud Processes

We are well aware that no two businesses have exactly the same business processes, and that often customers have unique processes. So in addition to the standard Cloud Process Editions described above, eBuilder can also provide Cloud Processes custom built to meet customer requirements for new Cloud Processes outside the scope of our standard offerings. The openness of our Cloud Process Accelerator Platform enables the implementation and operation of these customized Cloud Processes.

Customers define the electronic business processes they want implemented and the desired hosting environment, Service Level Agreements, and level of support. eBuilder does a pre-study. Then eBuilder implements these Cloud Processes based on the standard eBuilder Cloud Process Accelerator Platform and its service-oriented architecture (SOA) technology. Where possible, our customizations reuse standard eBuilder Cloud Process components such as existing integrations to business process networks, master data, decision logic, and business rules. Customized Cloud Processes are hosted separately for the customer in what is sometimes called a ‘Private Cloud’.
eBuilder’s Cloud Processes Accelerator Platform

All the editions of eBuilder Cloud Processes are based on the same service-oriented architecture (SOA), component-based technology – the eBuilder Cloud Process Accelerator Platform.
